Initial prototype
Bring up the ESP32-C3, read temperature and humidity, and present sensor values on the OLED.
Exploring a compact, locally controlled thermostat built around the ESP32-C3, an environmental sensor and a simple on-device interface.
The initial hardware platform uses an ESP32-C3, SHT41 temperature/humidity sensor, OLED display and physical buttons. The goal is to evaluate sensing, local interaction, Wi-Fi connectivity and integration with a smart-home ecosystem before developing a production PCB.
Bring up the ESP32-C3, read temperature and humidity, and present sensor values on the OLED.
Define button interactions, setpoint logic, user feedback and communication behavior.
Design a compact PCB, power subsystem, enclosure and test points after prototype requirements are validated.
Assess thermal behavior, sensor accuracy, fault handling and any applicable electrical safety requirements before connection to heating equipment.
This is an early-stage product-development project. The component selection and proposed architecture are documented; a finished PCB, certified mains switching hardware, production enclosure and measured performance are not claimed.
Konceptux works on embedded hardware, firmware and integration from early requirements through prototype validation.
